Community-led monitoring programmes produce a range of reports and data summaries. These include dashboards that share key information as well as quarterly monitoring reports, summaries of findings and reports on CLM impact. CLM data are also used to inform broader advocacy and accountability efforts.
This page features illustrative examples of each of these report types. It is non-exhaustive and updated on a quarterly basis. Readers are encouraged to visit the web pages of the organizations and coalitions whose work is featured below.
Impacts of US foreign aid cuts
Sounding the alarm: Service-level effects of HIV funding cuts in Malawi and South Africa (2025)
In early 2025, the U.S. reformed its foreign aid program, cancelling $79.5 billion in development aid, including $1.1 billion for global HIV response in FY24/25. Countries issued memos on service modifications, but the immediate effects on clinic-level services are unclear. An early warning system is needed for emergency mitigation. This report by ITPC analyzes USAID awards and reports findings from a rapid early warning exercise in Malawi and South Africa, involving 153 stakeholders in 11 focus groups to assess the impact.
